Following sign-off on the final layout scheme, RMD provides a preliminary budget report on the construction costs from a nominated builder.This is imperative so that the client can manage costs and approve the progression to the next design stage. If required, we also seek a pre-application meeting with the local planning department, advisory meetings with building control, and liaise with listed building or conservation departments. This process ensures there are no surprises or hidden costs further down the line, and ensures that any restrictions to the project are known about from an early stage.
