Rupert Rainsford Mann

Rupert Rainsford Mann launched the company in 1998 and has over 13 years experience in the interior design industry. As a fully qualified interior architect, he has worked with some of the world’s top interior design firms such as Fox Linton Associates, John Stefanidis, Landseer Design and Atelier 21 in Dubai.

He also runs the successful yacht design consultancy RMD Marine and often takes inspiration and design keys from marine projects when working on land-based projects.

RMD has a design team that unlike many interior design firms consists of fully qualified interior architects and designers. The team at RMD Land is well equipped to work on projects where it is necessary to alter the structure of the building. An RMD project often involves structural re-design where we might add a rear extension, loft or side return in addition to re-planning and detailing the interior space.

Our designers use the very latest 2D and 3D CAD software, enabling us to produce photo-realistic computer-rendered images and walk-through animations, as well as detailed drawing packages and hand-drawn sketch perspectives to help our clients fully visualise our ideas for their projects.

With a close affiliation to our sister company RMD Marine — our yacht design consultancy — we can provide the ultimate solutions for space planning, material and finishes selection, recommending fixtures and fittings, furniture design and lighting design.
